CN Blue Send Their Chinese Fans A Message

The CN Blue boys have already successfully completed three concerts from their Asian tour. Having received an overwhelming response from fans, CN Blue took the time to send a caring message to their fans in China.

CN Blue has taken many by surprise as they continued to sell out concerts from their Asian tour. So far, the boys have sold 6,000 tickets for each of their three Japanese concerts, 2,000 in Singapore, and 4,000 in Taiwan.

Hong Kong recently gave them a warm welcome on the 24th of August as they arrived for promotions and a concert. The boys are set to release a new Japanese single on the 16th of September which will include two songs, Lies, written by member Lee JongHyun and I Don’t Know Why, which was written by Jung YongHwa.

‘Made In Wonder Girls’ To Air In The US?

Mnet‘s Made In Wonder Girls‘ producer, Mark PD, has recently commented on the possibility of the reality show airing in U.S. televisions.

Not only featuring the Wonder Girls as they prepare and go through their first U.S. tour, the show features exciting appearances by the boys of 2AM and 2PM along with their beloved producer, JYP. Mark PD has become a trusted person by fans as he has showcased the girls’ important moments throughout the years. Recently he posted through twitter,

met with the vice president of Mnet USA, very interested in promoting wonder girls in the USA. made in wonder girls will be aired in the US

Fans grew excited at the possibility of seeing the girls on their own tv screens at home and the possible exposure the girls would get from the show. Mark PD also commented, “made in wonder girls will be subbed in english and will be aired in the states, so don’t worry about the subtitles~“.

Meanwhile, another kpop idol group will soon be getting U.S. exposure. MTV‘s Vice Guide To Everything will be featuring Teen Top in one of their episodes.

Wearing an all-black wardrobe, So JiSub gives off a very rough feeling followed with his messy hairstyle and rugged facial hair. The actor shows off his chest in one of the images with wide-legged pants. JiSub also sported a similar wardrobe in his recent High Cut photo shoot.

The actor’s most recent drama, MBC‘s Road Number One just finished its’ broadcast last week and received fair ratings for a war drama. While there’s no news of him taking part in another drama, fans eagerly await his next project.

Sharing laughter and smiles when the camera turned off, the two immediately went back to their love story when the flash went off. “I constantly felt a sexy charisma while I was with senior Lee MiSook,” TOP shared while Lee MiSook said, “When seeing TOP in different works, rather than just looking young, he has a face filled with stories. That is probably why we appeared as one man’s woman.”

Although some fans are used to his wild fashion choices, G-Dragon still managed to take his fans by surprise as they saw him in September issue of W Korea Magazine. W Korea has now released a video for fans to see what it took to make these fashion forward images.

G-Dragon sported his newly auburn-red hair for the night photo shoot. Rather than a the usual set, this photo shoot was quite different as it was outdoors with not that many lights but only the photographer’s strong flash. The images give a rebellious feeling as G-Dragon gives a mischeivious smirk as he climbs a fence. Check out the video below:

Kyuhyun’s Sweet Revenge on His Hyungs

Super Junior’s Kyuhyun has long since been dubbed as the Evil Maknae, and he continues to show proof in support of this moniker. See Exhibit A below, taken from the ending song in Super Show 3 in Seoul last August 15.

Good decision! Because it was just all for Kim HyunJoong‘s newest drama Mischievous Kiss.

On the recent episode of this drama, Jung SoMin‘s character, Oh HaNi, suddenly showed him a photo of the thirteen Super Junior members and proudly named them one by one like a true-(sapphire)blue ELF would. However, HyunJoong’s character, smart and stoic Baek SeungJo, seemed not to recognize the popular idol group or worse, didn’t even show the slightest interest of knowing Super Junior at all!

SHINee’s Taemin is Being Bullied Again?

Early last year, netizens were plagued by rumors that SHINee’s Taemin was being bullied at school. Pictures of him walking hurriedly with his head down and even a fan diary of a supposed stalker were leaked in the Internet, making fans worry about their favorite maknae. The rumors died down eventually, but now the issue is firing up again when these pictures floated about.



 
There is no confirmation of the apparent harassment in the photos, but fans are in an outrage nonetheless. In one Twitter account, netizens cried out, “He hasn’t done anything to bother them!” “I can’t find a reason to hate Taemin. He’s just so kind, smiling to everybody no matter what!”
With great talent comes great responsibility, it seems, and even greater envy. Here’s to hoping the rumors are not true!

Kpop Girl Groups in Japan Should Thank DBSK?

Japanese music chart Oricon recently stated that DBSK is the reason why Korean girl groups are gaining popularity in Japan.
In its September 2nd column, The Eyes of the Editor-in-Chief, Oricon recognized the rising popularity of Kpop girlbands like KARA, SNSD, and 4Minute. They also pointed out that the fans of these groups are usually female teens and in their twenties.
“TVXQ (or DBSK) must be credited for Kpop and its girl groups successful launch in Japan. It seems that the fans have been feeling a sense of loss since TVXQ suspended all activities, so the fans in their teens and twenties are focusing their attention on Korean girl groups,” Oricon explained.
Moreover, the column stated, “Otherwise, it would have been impossible for these girl groups to have suddenly sold 30,000 copies of their album or have 20,000 people come to their events.”
True enough, DBSK (TVXQ in Japan) is one of the greatest ambassadors of Kpop in Japan. Their sudden disbandment must have left a huge whole in the Kpop fandom. Moreover, DBSK proved the success that a Kpop group can attain. Hence, making the Japanese market notice the potential success of other Korean idol groups.
However, these girl groups efforts can also not be ignored. Oricon even acknowledged that Kpop is fast gaining momentum in Japan. Moreover, for rookies, these girl groups are surely doing great, even debuting in sales and music charts with an incredible record.
But one thing is certain, there is really something about Kpop that the Japanese and the rest of the world can’t resist.

Jay Park Did Not Sign with Yedang Company

On the 3rd of September, a newspaper reported that YEDANG Company will be the first company to release Jay Park‘s album in Korea and other Asia countries.
Jay Park’s company, Sidus HQ has now announced their official stance this afternoon to the media and said, “Jay Park did not sign with YEDANG company to release any album. This company is just going to release Jay Park’s song, ‘Demon‘ for the movie ‘Hype Nation’ OST. Currently we are discussing  with Jay Park on some activities. ”
Seems like with so much going on, there has been a little confusion between the company heads. Good Luck to Jay and the release of Hype Nation.

f(x), SHINee and Zhang Liyin ‘Eithtoo’ Clip Released

As previously reported, f(x), SHINee and Zhang Liyin are to promote the label Eithtoo, and their new fashion line of exercise/sports clothes like Nike or Adidas. The fashion line will be called H2. There hasn’t been much information about the label yet, but stores are expected to open simultaneously in China in early September. There were also some pictures being released previously which made netizens curious as to what this collaboration was all about. Now we know!

This will also be SHINee’s first ever CF in china and f(x)’s second. The clip for the commercial has recently been released, check it out below:

Taeyang Says “I’m Sorry” on His Twitter

On the September 2nd episode of Mnet M!Countdown, Taeyang was embroiled in controversy over his choice of attire, with the most unflattering words appearing on the back of his Chrome Hearts tank top.
He has now decided to apologize  on his Twitter account for the mistake on his part and said, “I didn’t realize about the mistake during the preparation of the broadcast. I will carefully pay attention to every little bit of it, so that it will not happen in the future. I’m sorry” 
 
 
It seems like the whole matter may have been blown out of proportion, lets all accept his apology and move forward.
